Autosport International

"A Resounding Success For Legends" …

Autosport International, held at the NEC, Birmingham, left all involved in Legends full of optimism for the year ahead, with many great things planned for The 2010 UK Legends Championship

In recent years Legends have had a stand at Autosport International, but this year made the very best of an opportunity that arose on The Chemtec stand “
Karchers Largest Dedicated Dealer in the UK” who were featuring the #11 car of Karcher/Handy Motorsports Simon Belcher. The move was an experiment for the Legends, and one that proved to be a resounding success.

"The show was very good for us, as we met with existing drivers, supporters & partners, as well as a number of prospective new drivers & teams" said Phil Cooper, 600 Racing. "We were curious as to how the weekend would go, it's been better than we could ever of imagined. With some serious racing enquiries, we certainly hope be back at the show again next year."

Phil also said "Last year was a challenging one not only for The
UK Legends Championship but for motorsport generally, with Autosport 2010 a success, encouraging reports from inside & outside our championship, we look forward to an exciting year ahead."

Legends Champions Crowned At Brands …

Congratulations go to Lee Fitzpatrick who was crowned 2009 UK Legends Champion after the penultimate race of the season, not only did Lee have to contend with the close attention of championship runner-up Stephen Treherne & that of 2008 Champion John 'Jon' Higgins but, also some of the worst conditions Legends have ever raced in, on his way to the title.

Congratulations also go to #8 Nick Brace who clinched the 2009 UK Legends Rookie crown to add to the same title he took in The Scottish Legends Championship.
