2008 Rookie year in Legends Cars (Rookie year as a driver full stop) No previous road race driving experience, despite having been around race paddocks for many years as a spotter in the Pickup Truck Racing and ASCAR/Days of Thunder Series. The car is crewed by John and Dan Vernon, (brother and nephew ) Dave is married to Karyn, and has 3 children, James, Isabel & Jessica.
