Darren made his debut in the 2006 Championship taking second place in the Rookie Championship. Ex 250cc Kartist. Darren lives and works in Bristol.

His first taste of racing Legends Cars was in the Winter Weekend at Brands Hatch in November 2005. He was top rookie in the second part of the meeting, top points scoring rookie over the weekend and also won 'Driver of the Day'.

He contested most of the 2007 racing season and purchased the ex John Higgins Ford 34 Coupe in time for the '07 Winter Trophy where he made it into the top ten.
